What is a Hair Mask?

Hair masks are usually formulated with butter and oils that contain ingredients to make your hair look smoother and moisturize hair and scalp. It helps strengthen hair and repair hair shaft damage. On top of that, it absorbs nutrients and gives benefits to your hair and scalp inside out.

What is a Hair Conditioner?

Hair conditioners are made to nourish the outer layer of hair one point at a time after use. Using a hair conditioner does not require you to leave it on but to rinse off right away. It makes your hair soft and manageable only after conditioning.

Conditioners are not meant to be applied from root to tip but only on the hair strands. They are usually waxy and take more time to rinse off thoroughly as compared to a hair mask.

So, if I were to choose either one, I would choose the one that treats my hair inside out and gives long term benefits. The answer is HAIR MASK.
